Meeting Minutes

 March 10, 2015 Called to order 7:02pm

Programs in Attendance:
Bel Air, Aberdeen, Fallston, Jarrettsville, Conowingo, Hereford, Joppatowne, Cecil, Edgmere, Edgewood, Stembridge, Perry Hall, LTRC, North Harford, Towson, Havre De Grace, Cockeysville, Emmorton.

Grey Charles and Loyola were also present.

Executive Board Members in Attendance:
Keith Fletcher (Pres.), Ian Mitchell (VP Scheduling), Jamie Eckels (Secretary), Carisa Reachard (Treasurer)

President’s Report:
Nothing new to report.

VP of Scheduling Report:
Currently looking for scheduling software. If anyone has any recommendations please contact Ian Mitchell.

Treasurers Report:
 No checks written.
Account Balance: $490.17
Still working on Trophy issue.  

VP of Rules Report:
Nothing new to report.  

Blue Division Report:
Nothing new to report.  

Gold Division Report:
Nothing new to report.  

White Division Report: Nothing new to report.  

Old Business:

~Rule proposal Votes: Much Discussion                
             -Rule change proposal to eliminate tackle to tackle from ALL age groups was denied with a vote of 10 (not in favor) to 7 (in favor).                
             -Rule change proposal to revise 18pt. rule to 24pt. rule was also denied with a vote of 8 (not in favor) to 6 (in favor).  

~Grey Charles applied to join the league. They currently have the core four, with hopes of fielding the core 6 plus clinic. They have two fields and no lights. Board of Governor’s to vote.  

~Loyola Blakefield  looking to join the league. Much discussion. To be further discussed.  

New Business:
~ Rule change proposed: Edgewood Rule Change Proposal............. We propose for the league to make 7U competitive football. We would like 7U to adopt the old 6-8 rules. The rule state that it will be 16 plays per quarter and playing on a 62x80 yard field. The game will also be controlled by two referees. Six points for touch down, two point for throwing and kicking conversion, and one point for running in the conversion.  

~Vendor Night: All Pro will have their own night. Will make a list of vendors to distribute to programs.  

~Send any league structure thoughts and/or suggestions to Ian Mitchell.  

~Registration has opened for most of the programs thus far.
