Upper Chesapeake Youth Football LeagueJune 5th, 2012 Meeting Minutes
Call to Order: 7:06pm Board Members/Programs in Attendance: BelAir, Edgewood, Cecil County, Jarrettsville, Joppatowne, Hereford, Perry Hall, Greg Beaty, Bob Chubb, Tonya Berry, Duvowel Peeker, Bob Elliott, and Debbe Jones. Meeting Minutes for May were provided for all to review. Charlie motioned to approve, all members in attendance approved May minutes.
President Report:
Mandatory Coaches meeting---all agreed that we should have this due to new program/new coaches. Both Greg and Charlie will work on a location and date.
Any parent issues for this upcoming season should first go the program for handling.
Since we have moved to 2 Divisions; we now have Blue and White Division commissioners. Tom Coard has been moved to Blue Division with Duvowel and John Schofield is White Division
Vice President of Rules:
The rule book and by-laws that are currently on web site need to be updated-----Sean is working on this.
Vice President of Scheduling:
Went over Matrix that was provided for all to review
Needs information from programs regarding any certain dates that cannot be played at home field.
Programs interested in hosting Championship games must be submitted by September meeting.
Need to discuss 14U…should we move them to 1 division due to the number of teams and have them split evenly or keep them in 2 divisions?
Secretary: No report at this time
Treasurer:
Reminded all that league fees for 2012 is $55 per team/per program and needs to be submitted as soon as possible.
